I recently found a series of drawings completed in my second year of art school. The idea was the struggle of the working class with the symbol being a hammer in the shape of a question mark surrounded by stormy clouds.

"If I had not already created the heavens, I would create them just for you", the quote on a banner above the sculpture. This photo is a bit dark though.

'Gisleni's Grave, S.M. del Popola', pencil on paper, 2010.
Watching a movie the other night, I saw the carved 'memento mori' from Gisleni's grave in the Santa Maria del Popola church in Rome. I found a picture of it on the internet and drew this picture from that, I'm reasonably happy with this but it does need some work.

Ellie May, aka the 'Paeroa Princess', aka 'Lady Muck', aka 'The Runt', aka 'Smellie Ellie', likes to sleep sitting up on her bum on the couch like a person and has done ever since the photo this was drawn from, was taken at six weeks old. I'm not usually one for realistic drawings as I usually just scribble information down for paintings, but this is a nice change.
