Untitled, Mixed Media on Paper, 1996.
I recently found a series of drawings completed in my second year of art school. The idea was the struggle of the working class with the symbol being a hammer in the shape of a question mark surrounded by stormy clouds.

I have had this little Woollaston drawing of Mapua for about twelve years, but it never sees the light of day and has been passed on to Dunbar Sloane auctioneers to find a new home.

After enjoying some crazy, epic train journeys through India in 2003, I had said I would do something with the tickets to commemorate that trip. In December last year I spent LOTS of time and money putting this together, showing the tickets and travel in chronological order over a map where I spent most of my time. The photo in the centre is from that trip, but this photo of the overall picture doesn't really do it justice.

I bought this painting in Hanoi under the influence of too many local beers. I absolutely love it though but cannot remember the artists name, it's hard to interpret the signature on the back. I also loved the frame so much that I lugged it around in pieces for three weeks. Big thanks to Sharon at 'Art Works' in Karori for fixing it back up again.
